a Thank You to ‘fyrefly’

03 July, 2010

The writer brings alive the food, flavours and the accompanying scents and sounds of Mumbai in an amazingly tactile way, virtually !! Only a passionate Mumbaikar could have done this…the eatery suggestions are a treasure trove …one of the best food artciles I’ve read, ever , from the world over – Awesome is an understatement . This is going to remain with me for a long, long time and definitely each time I visit Mumbai for the rest of my life ….Wish someone would capture Delhi food like this !

  1. I’ve forwarded your article to all my FB and other friends. And I am counting on you for a Foodie tour when we come to Mumbai next. My husband Pascal is salivating at the thought.

I just chatted with Anil on Skype and he mentioned having spoken with you. I sent him the article as well.

Stay in touch.. and if you come see us in France or the US, I promise you a foodie tour 🙂

  2. Hi,

I’m trying to trace Sanjiv Khamgaonkar, who lived in Mumbai, went to Elphi and had a nickname drawn from Lord of the Flies. We were friends along with Anil Dere, Anjali, etc. If you’re the same Sanjiv, Great to find you! If not, my apologies for adding to your email traffic! Love your writing and look forward to reading more.

    • hey … yes it’s the same sanjiv! nice to hear from you after such a long time! and glad you like my writing! :-))
